Water is one of our most immense and valuable resources. Spa Le Scandinave is proud of the measures we’ve taken to conserve this natural treasure, so crucial to our survival and so essential to your well-being. We have developed rigorous and reliable controls to ensure that we provide water of exceptional quality at all times while minimizing the environmental impact of the relaxation activities we offer.
So you might be glad to know:
- That we use the latest computer systems to monitor and continually adjust the chemical content of our pools, particularly chlorine and pH levels.
- That in addition to our automated system, water quality is checked manually at least five times daily by our qualified operators and the findings are recorded in a logbook. This control log, which we keep at the reception desk, is available to anyone who’d like to consult it. Our experts are always available to answer any questions clients might have.
- That our pools are emptied regularly to keep the TDS (total dissolved solids) level at 1,500 ppm (parts per million), the standard established by the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
- That the external environmental-analysis lab Bio-Services, which is based in the Laurentians and holds the ISO 17025 certification, takes random samples several times each month to measure bacteria and sediment content in the pools.
Whether you’re visiting our spa in Mont-Tremblant, in Old Montreal, in Whistler or Blue Mountain, you are assured of optimal water quality at all times!
