Immerse yourself in well-being
Widely recognized for their energizing and relaxing effects, the Scandinavian baths, also known as hydrotherapy are associated with many benefits. In addition to cleansing the body, they stimulate blood circulation and the release of endorphins. All of the senses are awakened; muscles are soothed; a general sensation of well-being washes over you. Immerse yourself… to emerge again feeling calm yet invigorated by the experience of the Scandinavian baths spa. For the ultimate relaxation enjoy a Massage & Bath Package.
To enjoy the full health benefits of the Scandinavian baths repeat the sequence below 3 to 4 times.
Warm the Body
The first step of the hydrotherapy experience is to warm the body for approximately 10 to 15 minutes to increase blood flow to the skin and muscles. Raising the body temperature creates a sensation of deep relaxation and stimulates the immune system. The use of hot water works to cleanse the skin, improve physical conditioning and promote a sense of well-being.

- Wood burning Finnish sauna
- Hot baths

Refreshing Rinse in Cold Water
The second step of the Scandinavian bath spa experience includes closing the pores of the skin with a brief (20 to 30 second) but highly beneficial cold rinse. Cold water helps to reduce inflammation and stimulates circulation which then boosts the immune system.
Cold rinse options:
- Nordic waterfalls
- Cold baths
- Cold showers
The final step of the experience is giving yourself a minimum of 15 minutes to relax. Allow your body to feel the great benefits and sensations from doing the hot and cold sequence. Enjoy the changes through the body until it regulates itself back to normal. The perfect time to let the body and mind rest.
- Outdoor fireplace
