Sound Bath with Saida Jusic
Join Saida Jusic for a serene sound bath at dusk. Immerse yourself in a wave of healing sounds as Saida plays crystal bowls, percussion instruments, chimes, and gongs. Sound baths slow the heart rate, reduce blood pressure, and activate healing in the body. This video is best experienced with headphones.
For over 30 years, Saida has worked holistically in health and wellness. She holds diplomas in Sound Healing and Massage Therapy. Saida’s treatments leave her clients feeling grounded, centered, at peace, and able to connect to their creative, authentic, and higher selves.
Spa Yoga with Carolyn Anne Budgell
Join Carolyn Anne Budgell in a simple and calming Spa Yoga class – it’s perfect for all levels! In this practice, you will breathe deeply into all the spots where tension accumulates (hips, shoulders, and neck). Go slow and enjoy some quiet moments to give yourself a complete reset. The quiet will balance the busyness of life, the soothing breathing will balance the nervous system and the slowness will help you relax into the moment.
Carolyn is a dedicated meditation guide (and lifelong student!) who has been teaching yoga trainings and retreats worldwide for 10+ years. She leads from a pragmatic, relatable, and lighthearted place while passionately encouraging others to remember that it’s never too late to breathe deeply, to grow and to change. Carolyn practices and shares “Spa Yoga”; think mellow, meditative, no effort poses that reset the nervous system and open the hips. A Spa Yoga class is built upon the pillars of slowness, permission to adapt poses, heartfelt themes, and quiet.
Functional Strength with Amanda Eggleton
Join ReAlignment Lab partners Amanda Eggleton and Kyle Chapman for a short but transformative functional strength training session at the Scandinave Spa Whistler. This basic workout will get the heart rate up while reinforcing correct body alignment, creating stability and increasing mobility. This series of core movements can be done anywhere with no equipment and the duo provides knowledge to get you moving better, safer, and in “alignment.
Amanda started her therapeutic journey as a Registered Remedial Massage Therapist in 2008. In 2020, Amanda gained her Personal Training Certification to enable her to offer a combination of massage therapy and strength training to help clients achieve the same success she had in overcoming pain and dysfunction. She owns and operates ReAlignment Lab with her partner Kyle Chapman.
Meditation with Susan Reifer
Join Susan Reifer in a ten-minute guided meditation to reduce tension, calm the mind and nurture overall well-being. Designed for all levels of experience, this session centers on coming to rest in-kind presence with yourself. Grounded in science-backed methods, the meditation pairs touch and breath with kindness and self-empathy. Susan’s guidance is clear, warm, and resonant. The backdrop is Scandinave Spa Whistler in winter, a dreamy setting for experiencing renewal, restoration, and transformational ease.
Susan believes meditation is a game-changer that can help anyone better navigate modern life. Her dedicated 30-year journey of studying, practicing and ultimately teaching mindfulness has unfolded alongside a demanding career as a writer, editor, and magazine journalist. She brings her full skillset to teaching, offering helpful, research-backed tools of present-moment mindfulness meditation in ways that are accessible, practical, and lingo-free—and in a voice students love to hear. Whether in this special session for Scandinave, her popular community classes in Whistler, custom sessions for conference groups, or her work with private clients, Susan’s aim as a teacher is to help others access simple yet transformational practices that actually work for them in their very real daily lives.
