Do I have to wear a mask during my visit?
Wearing a mask will no longer be mandatory from May 14, 2022, in accordance with the INSPQ, Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services and the CNESST.
Wearing a mask will be at the discretion of each and everyone, thank you for your understanding.
What should I do if I have symptoms or if I may have been exposed to COVID-19 and have already reserved an experience?
We kindly ask you to not visit the spa and contact our reservation team to cancel your appointment. Due to the ongoing pandemic, Scandinave Spa will be more accommodating and will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who does not comply with these conditions.
What will happen to my membership?
The membership period will be extended on a case-by-case basis. Do not hesitate to contact our customer service at 819 425-9595.

What are your opening hours?
Our baths are open every day of the week, rain or shine or snow, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with massages starting at 9 a.m.
The current massage schedule is:
- From 9 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.
The time slots for bath reservations are:
- From 10:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
You can reach us by phone every day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
What payment methods do you accept?
It is possible to pay by debit card, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Amex), Scandinave Spa monetary gift certificate, or with a Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant promotional gift certificate.
The only credit cards approved for online payments are VISA or MasterCard. To minimize fraud and unauthorized charges to your credit card, we verify the validity of transactions by using a full Address Verification Service or AVS and CVV check. Please note that your credit card billing address, billing postal code and CVV code are verified with your card issuing bank or other financial institution. Credit card transactions will be approved if AVS and CVV matches with your card issuer. Transactions will be rejected by your card issuer if AVS and CVV do not match with your credit card issuer’s information.
Please note that it is not possible to redeem a monetary gift certificate or gift card online, but it can be applied at the time of your spa visit and the credit card used for booking will be refunded. Promotional gift cards or gift certificates for baths access cannot be used to reserve the VIP access online.
Promotional Scandinave Spa monetary gift certificates (e.g. Pay $80, get $100), cannot be combined with any promotional offer (e.g. memberships, locals special offer, après-ski, corporate privilege program, etc.).
Gift cards purchased on Costco.ca are not accepted while Costco gift cards purchased in store are accepted. Please contact Costco if you would like a refund for gift cards purchased online. Costco Gift Cards cannot be combined with any other discount, promotional offer, or package.
Please note that WaySpa certificates are no longer accepted as of December 18, 2020.
What are the reservations and cancellation policies?
- Guests must be 18 years and over.
- Towel and lock are included.
- Bathing suit mandatory and sandals recommended.
- Prices are per person, before taxes.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Reservation is required for massage. Your locker is reserved 3 hours before your massage so you can enjoy the Scandinavian baths experience.
- Access to Baths: Modifications to your bath reservation or VIP access cannot be made within 48 hours of the scheduled visit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation will be subject to full payment.
- Massages: Cancellations or modifications made within 48 hours of a massage reservation will be subject to a $135 cancellation fee per 60 min. massage and $180 per 120 min. massage.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards purchased online are delivered electronically. There is a 72-hour delay to activate gift cards purchased online. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
What are the policies in place?
You agree to follow the following spa etiquette rules:

- Silence is mandatory to allow for deep relaxation
- Techno-free zone: electronic devices are not accepted
- Kids-free zone: Experience reserved for 18 years old and over
Sound environment
- Shower before the baths experience (before & after massage)
- Sit on your towel
- Bathing suits are mandatory
- Bringing a lunch box is prohibited
To ensure the quality of the experience and the safety of other guests and employees, there will be zero tolerance for non-compliance with these policies.

What should I bring?
Upon your arrival, we provide two towels per person and a padlock for your locker. Bring your bathing suit and flip flops are recommended on the site. Sandals are available for purchase in the boutique.
All our massage and VIP access packages include the robe rental. If you come for the baths experience only, the rental is available at the reception but is not mandatory.
Is it possible to talk or whisper on the site?
We believe that silence is essential to the enjoyment of the Scandinavian baths experience. By embracing silence, one finds inner stillness, leading to complete relaxation.
Are cell phones and other electronic devices allowed on site?
Please leave your electronic devices in your locker. Only e-readers without camera will be permitted.
There’s no wifi at the Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant, but we promise you will find a better connection.
What is the gift card/certificate policy?
- Gift certificates can be purchased at our front desk or via our website.
- Please note that there is a 72-hour delay to activate gift certificates purchased online.
- Promotional Scandinave Spa monetary gift certificates (e.g. Pay $80, gift $100), cannot be combined with any promotional offer (e.g. memberships, locals special offer, après-ski, corporate privilege program, etc.).

Is the site accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Please note that our facility in the heart of nature is not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
Due to the hilly Laurentian terrain, there are several staircases throughout the experience to access the installations, from the changing rooms to the baths and also to our massage room.
Are alcoholic drinks allowed?
No. We advise strongly against alcohol consumption during a hydrotherapy experience, which is why it is strictly forbidden outdoors on the site.
However, a glass of wine can complement a day of relaxation. Our bistro therefore stocks a few different wines, to be consumed in moderation at the end of the day.
Management reserves the right to prohibit access to clients who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
Can we eat on site? Is it possible to bring your own lunch?
A choice of light meals and beverages including sandwiches, soups, quiches and salads, desserts, tea, coffee and wine, prepared locally and delivered fresh.
Please note that food cannot be brought into the spa and guests do not have in-and-out privileges.
Is it possible to leave the spa and then return later in the day to continue enjoying the installations?
No. Although there is no time limit to enjoy our installations, it is important to know that you cannot leave the site for lunch or any other reason and come back afterwards.
We recommend planning your visit knowing that food cannot be brought into the spa and guests do not have in-and-out privileges.
I identify as 2SLGBTQ+. Do you have a gender neutral bathroom or change room facilities?
At this time, we only have male and female gendered change rooms and shower facilities.
All guests are welcome at the Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant regardless of their gender identity. Transgender, transsexual and intersex guests are free to choose the change room they feel most comfortable using. A private bathroom in the lobby area can also be made available to guests to change in if this makes them more comfortable. Personal belongings can be securely stored during the visit. Please let your check-in agent know if you would like us to make this private change area available to you during your visit.

Is lodging available on site? Do you provide lodging packages?
Take advantage of a lodging and spa package in our magnificent region Scandinave Spa is pleased to be associated with select hotel partners (chalets, B&Bs, inns, motels and hotels).
Since your facilities are outdoors, what happens in rain or poor weather?
The Scandinavian Baths activity takes place year-round, rain, snow or shine. Our facilities have been designed so that you can enjoy your hydrotherapy experience regardless of the weather. In case of a thunderstorm, the baths may be closed.
No reimbursement nor compensation will be offered should we need to close our installations due to adverse meteorological conditions.
Is parking available?
Yes, we have free parking on site.
Can I bring my dog?
No. Dogs are not allowed in our parking lot and on the site. We reserve the right to call the police if your pet is left in your car.
How do you ensure water quality?
At Scandinave Spa, water quality as always been a top priority.
Water is disinfected with chlorine, a disinfectant known to kill viruses and bacteria. Water quality control tests are performed twice as frequently as required by health authorities, to ensure the water is optimal and its parameters are appropriately adjusted. In addition, an independent company conducts water tests every two weeks.
Our cleaning and disinfection protocol have always exceeded the requirements of health authorities. During daily operations and over-night, in-depth cleaning of our indoor and outdoor installations is completed.
In addition, as a member of the Association Québécoise des spas, we would like to inform you that:
- we respect the Water quality regulations for pools and other water basins from the Ministry of the Environment;
- the process of water quality control of the pools requires that we keep a daily register of the results and that we mandate a laboratory approved by the Ministry of the Environment for additional analysis.

Do you take reservations for the Scandinavian baths experience?
Yes, online reservations are now available here.
- Online reservations only, no phone reservations will be accepted.
- For baths reservations, the only credit cards approved online are Visa and Mastercard.
- Please note that it is not possible to redeem a monetary gift certificate or gift card online, but it can be applied at the time of your spa visit and the credit card used for booking will be refunded.
- Promotional gift cards or gift certificates for baths access cannot be used to reserve the VIP access online.
- Modifications to your bath reservation or VIP access cannot be made within 48 hours of the scheduled visit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation will be subject to full payment.
- Reservations per day are limited and may vary.
- Guests must check-in by their reservation time or within 30 minutes after that time or they will lose their priority access to the baths.
Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance.
How do I guarantee access to the spa when I arrive?
The only way to guarantee access to the spa is to book a massage or reserve a VIP access online. Massage guests and VIP access reservations have priority in getting into the baths area. This priority does not apply for others in your group if they don’t have massage bookings or a baths reservation as well.
If there is a line outside the spa, it is important to know that priority will be given to clients with a massage reservation followed by those with a VIIP access.
If I am on a waitlist, how do I know when to return to the spa?
We send a text message for you to return within 30 minutes. Once you are added to the waitlist you are able to text through that system to find out your place in line.
Is there a waitlist every day?
Waitlists generally only occur Friday through Sunday and statutory holidays. We recommend booking one of our services.
From Monday to Thursday, there is normally no waitlist for access to the baths.

Is there a time limit to enjoy the Scandinavian baths experience?
There is no time limit for your visit, but it is important to know that guests do not have in-and-out privileges.
Are showers mandatory?
Guests will be required to take a shower before and after their massage and before entering the baths.
What is the minimum age to be able to enjoy the Scandinavian baths experience?
Baths and massages are reserved for adults of 18 years and over.
However, we do accept 16- and 17-year-olds with a valid ID and provided they are accompanied by an adult. Please note that hydrotherapy is not recommended for young children and that silence is required on site.
I am pregnant. Is it possible to experience the Scandinavian baths?
The hydrotherapy experience is not recommended for pregnant women because sudden temperature changes can lead to complications. Please consult your doctor.

Can I enjoy the baths experience if I am under medication or suffering from certain health problems?
The Scandinavian baths may present risks for people suffering from angina, heart or respiratory problems, diabetes, hyper- or hypotension, especially when these conditions are viewed as serious and/or uncontrolled. In case of doubt about your condition, ask for your doctor’s opinion.
I'm feeling sick, can I go to the spa?
No. While you may want to come and steam out your stuffy sinuses, any guest exhibiting cold or flu symptoms should stay home, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have a fever, cough, nausea, runny nose, vomiting, or diarrhea please do not come to the spa as you will be refused entry.
If you have a massage booking and are showing any of these symptoms, your therapist has the right to refuse the massage.
Massage Therapy Experience
Is the care provided reimbursable by my private group insurance?
All of our massage therapists are members of a recognized Quebec association and can issue receipts for insurance purposes. Simply request it when you fill out your health questionnaire or ask your massage therapist directly.
We recommend you to check directly with your health insurance provider which are the associations covered with your current plan, especially if you or your insurance company are not from Quebec.

How far in advance do I need to check in before a massage?
Check-in is required at least 30 minutes prior to reservation time.
How do I book an appointment?

How far ahead should reservations be made?
For best availability, we recommend booking your massage and baths package in advance.
Are all massage techniques available upon reopening?
Yes, all massage techniques are available: Swedish relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue and prenatal massage, offered in sessions of 60 or 120 minute depending on availability.
However, duo massages and facial massages are temporarily not offered.
What is your massage cancellation policy?
Cancellations or modifications made within 48 hours of a massage reservation will be subject to a a $70 cancellation fee per 60 min. massage and $95 per 120 min. massage, and $135 cancellation fee per 60 min. massage & baths package, and $180 per 120 min. massage & baths package once the baths reopen.
Is it necessary to fully undress to receive treatment?
Our therapist team works professionally, with the greatest respect for each individual. You may wish to know that a sheet covers you at all times to respect your privacy. Only the area being massaged is uncovered. It is more comfortable to receive a massage when no clothing is worn, but we respect the choice of our clients who prefer to keep clothes on.
I am pregnant. Can I have a massage anyway?
There are moments in life when a woman’s well-being is more important than ever. Our prenatal massage is perfectly adapted to the particular needs of expecting mothers and is offered as early as the 13th week of pregnancy.
It is important to mention how many weeks pregnant you are when reserving.
The Scandinavian Baths are not recommended for pregnant women because sudden temperature changes can lead to complications. Please consult your doctor.

When is massage therapy not advised?
If you are taking medication or have particular health problems (such as cancer), therapeutic treatments are perhaps best avoided. A note from your doctor may be requested by your massage therapist. You must make your health condition known, in particular by providing accurate answers on the health sheet that we ask all clients to fill out before their massage.
In case of doubt about your condition, ask for your doctor’s opinion.
