During the provincial stay-at-home order, Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain is permitted to offer Registered Massage Services for clients who are already in the South Georgian Bay area. Treatment may include up to 45 minutes access of Hydrotherapy (Hot & Cold Baths only) if recommended by the RMT. Registered Massage Services are available Mon–Fri starting Jan 11th, 2021.

Our Protocols

Our Saunas and Steam Room are not permitted to open until further notice. Scandinavian Baths guests will save $10 for access. Registered Massage rates can not be reduced in accordance to the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario guidelines.

Due to reduced capacity, visits are limited to a maximum of 2 people per group. No exceptions can be made to this policy at this time.

Guests are encouraged to arrive on-site with a reservation or a text notification from our wait list app (see below for more information about our wait list procedure).

We require full payment at time of booking for all reservation in an effort to reduce transactions at check-in.

Grey Bruce Public Health has made masks or face coverings mandatory in enclosed public places. All guests are required to wear a mask while indoors during their visit. Masks are mandatory for guests and Registered Massage Therapists during massage treatments. Masks are not mandatory while outdoors in the Baths activity. We recommend guests bring their own mask for optimal comfort and fit.

Scandinave Spa has enhanced sanitation measures and implemented a new health assessment upon arrival for all guests, employees and massage therapists.

Guests will be responsible to follow new spa etiquette guidelines during their visit.

Online Reservations
Scandinavian Baths access can be reserved 2-3 weeks in advance. Availability is limited. Guests can also reserve access to the Baths by phone. Please note: Vouchers and other promotional offers cannot be redeemed for RESERVED Baths.

Registered Massage treatments can be booked online up to 4 months in advance. Presently only 60 minute treatments are being offered. DUO Massage cannot be booked until further notice.


Same Day Visits to the Scandinavian Baths
Guests without a Baths reservation can still experience the spa by signing up to our online wait list on the day of their visit.

What should I bring with me?

Proper bathing suit attire is mandatory. Sandals or flip-flops are recommended. These items can also be purchased at our boutique.

We encourage guests to bring their own reusable water bottle. Water filling stations are available on site.

A mask or face covering. Masks are required in all indoor spaces and during massage treatments.

Robes are available for rent or purchase, or Guests are welcome to bring their own. Upon check-in, all Massage Guests will receive a robe rental for the duration of their visit.

Each Guest will receive 2 towels and a locker.

PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with Grey Bruce Public Health guidelines, personal hairdryers are not permitted. Scandinave Spa Hairdryers can only be used in designated locations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain Guests honour silence during their visit. Cell phones and cameras are not permitted in the Massage Pavilion and Baths activity.
