Proof of vaccination no longer required
Showing proof of vaccination to access events, services and businesses, including Scandinave Spa Whistler, will no longer be required by order of the Provincial Health Officer. The easing of restrictions is based on ongoing and careful review of data by the provincial health officer and the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC). Everyone will adjust to the changes in restrictions at their own pace, and it is important to be respectful of other people’s comfort levels. Masks not required
Masks are no longer required in public indoor spaces for Scandinave Spa Whistler staff, guests, and therapists. This includes in massage settings by either the guest or the therapist. People may want to continue wearing a mask based on personal choice.
What hygiene measures and sanitary guidelines have the spa implemented?
Before entering the baths, and before and after a massage, guests must take shower with soap.
Our cleaning and disinfection protocols have always exceeded the requirements of health authorities. During daily operations and overnight, in-depth cleaning of our indoor and outdoor installations takes place as well as sanitization of frequently touched areas such as lockers, door handles, tablets, and handrails.
Water is treated with chlorine, a disinfectant known to kill viruses and bacteria. Water quality control tests are performed twice as frequently as required by health authorities, to ensure the cleanliness of the water is optimal and that its parameters are appropriately adjusted. In addition, an independent company conducts water tests every two weeks.
Can I request a vaccinated massage therapist?
Scandinave Spa Whistler is not required to enforce a vaccination policy for employees or therapists.
Is the bistro open?
The bistro is open with reduced operations due to staffing.

We offer a selection of light meals, snacks and treats, cold non-alcoholic drinks, and hot beverages including espresso-based coffees. We are proud to carry a variety of vegan and gluten-free options.
