We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-focused Marketing Specialist to become an integral part of our team.

Job Title: Marketing Specialist

As the Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting marketing campaigns, social media management, digital marketing initiatives, and contribute to the development of organization-wide communications strategies in support of Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain’s goals. The successful candidate will be creative, analytical, with a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working within a small team to deliver big results for an established brand leader.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide brand stewardship to ensure brand integrity across all physical and digital touch points.
• Create engaging and shareable content both written & visual (photo & video) for various social media platforms.
• Support digital marketing campaigns to promote products or services.
• Report on social, web, and campaign analytics to evaluate the success of campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
• Design and update signage, print materials and digital assets within brand guidelines.
• Ongoing management of guest communication channels including the website, email confirmations and other emails in CMS.
• Create and deliver internal communications & training and contribute to organization-wide team meetings.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of key marketing & communications strategies for guests, staff, and tourism & business partners.
• Correspond with tourism partners to facilitate local marketing projects, events and internal promotions, plan media visits aligned with strategies and insights.
• Marketing administration and support as needed.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• University Degree and/or Community College Specialized Diploma in Marketing and/or Media Communications.
• 3-5 years practical or position-related marketing and brand experience.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or design equivalent required.
• Experience working with digital marketing tools and platforms including but not limited to WordPress, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics GA4 (Google Analytics 4), Shopify.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams). Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and PowerApps, an asset.
• Experience with Reservations software, customer database management systems and online booking engines. Knowledge of ResortSuite and Ongage, an asset.
• Experience producing and managing content for Social Media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & TikTok.
• Proficient in written and visual content creation (i.e., creative and engaging copywriting, photography and videography for social media).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated, capable of learning new project management skills and responsibilities.
• Creative mindset, enthusiasm to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Able to take on and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills and comfort working with all levels of the organization.
• Experience in tourism will be considered as an asset.
