Scott Simons

Discover Scott Simons, your corporate wellness concierge. Every day, Scott inspires the practice of healthy lifestyles in Montreal businesses thanks to Organik, which he founded in 2002. Organik is also the wellness concierge at the Palais des Congrès located a few steps from the spa. He has accumulated more than 2000 hours of training as a yoga teacher, meditation teacher, health coach and personal trainer. In February 2020, he hosted a series of exclusive events at the Scandinave Spa, "Guided Meditation and Hydrotherapy" which aimed to introduce novices to meditation through hydrotherapy and the virtues of cold water. Today, he practices hydrotherapy and inspires those around him to do the same!

Kelsey Serwa

Location | Whistler

Kelsey Serwa is a Canadian Ski Cross team member, and is the current Olympic Champion in her sport. At 28 years old, she is also an Olympic Vice Champion (2014), World Champion and two-time X-Games Gold Medalist. After a strenuous week of gym workouts and bike riding, Kels loves to unplug and rejuvenate her mind and body at the Spa.

Finn Iles

Growing up in Whistler helped Finn become the mountain bike phenom he is today. Finn has an impressive list of titles at only 19 years old he has already been the Junior World Cup Champion twice, World Whip Off Champion twice and Junior World Champion. Finn is one to watch on the World Cup circuit. When he is not racing or lapping the Whistler Bike Park you can find him embracing some much needed recovery at the spa.

Stan Rey

Stan Rey is a self-proclaimed ski adventurer extraordinaire. After moving to Whistler at the age of seven he found himself in a powder paradise which led him on a path to become a professional skier. He aims to live life to the fullest while exploring new zones to find the deepest pow. To him its simple “skiing is life and life is skiing”.

Meaghan Sutter

Meaghan’s philosophy is simple, move well, move often and live your best life possible. Living in Whistler, she is surrounded by endless places to explore. Her mission is to help optimize her clients for the mountain lifestyle and get them ready to ski better, hike longer, avoid pain and injury or simply get more fit!

Cindy Montambault

Location | Mont-Tremblant

Cindy is a mountain biker who performs on the world cup circuit. Since 2016, she has been part of the National Team and is riding around the world to earn a spot on the Olympic team for 2024. Originally from Val-d'Or in Abitibi, she grew up and worked in the mining industry and in 2011, she left her job in the mines to pursue her Olympic dream. Canadian Champion in XCE (Sprints) and a 3rd place in the World Cup in the same discipline, she also excels in the Olympic discipline (XCO) with a 29th position in the World Cup as well as multiple victories and podiums on Canadian soil. Always in pursuit of this goal for the Paris Games in 2024, she now lives in Val-David where she trains and gets involved in the community. Massage therapist since 2012 and specializing in sports massage, she practices this profession a few hours a week at the Scandinave in Mont Tremblant. Felix Burke

Growing up in Mont-Tremblant, Québec, builds a strong a sense of adventure and a passion for the outdoors. Felix discovered mountain-biking at 13, while in Whistler, and with his natural talent joined the National development team at 17. For the past 2 years, as an independent athlete, Felix focuses on races that give him a greater sense of adventure and continues to achieve winning results in national and international competitions. Intending to inspire others to push their limits and follow their passions, he started the bike camp Trail Trybe, a program focused on exploration, fun and adventure. So far, more than 150 kids have pushed their limits in a fun atmosphere amongst friends that share the same passion for mountain-biking, qhile discovered Mont-Tremblant trails. The culture of mountain biking encourages a healthy lifestyle and encourages self-improvement. This universe of mountains and adventure is the one in which he wishes to develop and share.

Phil Langevin

Location | Mont-Tremblant

When you grow up near a ski hill, chances are good that you’ll spend weekends skiing with the family. This pretty much describes Phil Langevin’s childhood after he discovered sports at the age of three. Inspired by his older brother, Phil switched from downhill racing to freestyle skiing when he was nine. A few years later, he would win the Nor-Am slopestyle circuit – a title of which he’s rightly proud. In 2018/19, his first year on the pro tour at just 17 years old, Phil earned two second place finishes. The first coming in Slopestyle at a world cup event in Font Romeu, France. He later ended off his rookie campaign with a Big Air silver at the World Ski and Snowboard festival in Whistler. Phil received the most coveted invitation in the world of freestyle skiing: a spot for the 2019 X Games. Stay tuned, his career is full of promise!

Alexi Godbout

Location | Mont-Tremblant | Whistler

The early parts of Alexi's skiing career were spent mostly in the park, competing in Slopestyle. He has attended numerous high-level events such as X-Games, Dew Tours, Euro Open, US Open and many others. For the last 5 years, he has fully switched his focus to big mountain skiing and filmmaking for Blank Collective Films.

Tatum Monod

Location | Whistler

Tatum grew up in Banff, Alberta surrounded by a family entrenched in ski history. Since making the move to Whistler Tatum has racked up two award-winning segments for Level 1 Productions, earning Best Female Edit at iF3 two years in a row, and has also been featured in the epic films of Sherpas Cinemas. Without question, she is currently one of the best women’s backcountry skiers around, with a future that looks like it will continue to approach new heights.

Leanne Pelosi

Location | Whistler

Considered one of the most well-rounded professional snowboarders in the world, Leanne is constantly exploring her backyard in search of Mother Nature’s deepest powder and epic big mountain lines. In her downtime, you will find her either gardening in whistler or free diving and surfing in Ucluelet, B.C. Leanne is also an active member for Protect Our Winters, the leading advocacy group for the winter sports community in the movement against climate change.

Magali Tisseyre

Location | Mont-Tremblant

Magali Tisseyre is a professional triathlete who specializes in long distance events. Upon finishing her master’s degree in Kinesiology (biomechanics), she moved to Victoria, BC, to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time triathlete. In her ten-year career, Magali has so far accumulated seventeen Victories and multiple podium performances, including two third-place finishes at Ironman 70.3 world championships (2009,2010). After having travelled the world to race and train for years, Magali has recently moved back home, to Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, to discover a wonderful new way of life, training in nature and at home.

Ryan Atkins

Ryan Atkins is a 6x Worlds Toughest Mudder Champion, North American OCR champion and Spartan Ultra Beast World champ. Ryan has a deep connection to nature, spending at least 90% of his training outdoors. Traveling all over the world living a face paced lifestyle, Ryan understands the importance of taking time to unwind both mentally and physically. When coming home to Ontario, the infrared sauna is where you will find Ryan decompressing and detoxifying during his visit to Scandinave Spa.

Lindsay Webster

Location | Blue Mountain

Lindsay is a trail runner and mountain athlete, but her success story originates in the sport of Obstacle Racing. She's held the title of female Obstacle Racing World Champion four years running. At 29 years old has traveled all over the world to compete in this sport, where she has visited Nordic baths along the way, but Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain near her home in Caledon, Ontario, remains her favourite. The hot/cold hydrotherapy is her favourite way to recover after strenuous training sessions.

Charlotte Batty

Location | Blue Mountain

Charlotte Batty has over 20 years of mountain bike experience in multiple disciplines. The early days of her career saw her competing at a national and international level, during which Charlotte claimed many titles.  She launched her business, MINII  ADVENTURES. teaching full time and recognized throughout North America for her instruction. Charlotte still understands the importance of listening to her body when it seeks rest, both physically and mentally, and a visit to Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain is her favourite way to find that rejuvenation.
